Join Us for A1 Musical Theatre's Auditions for "Peter Pan!"

A1 Musical Theatre is excited to announce auditions for our Spring performance of Peter Pan! Whether you're a seasoned actor or new to the stage, we welcome you to showcase your talent on Friday, August 23rd at 9 AM at Anchor Bible Church - 1288 N. Bonnie Cove Ave., Covina.

Get ready to bring these iconic characters to life:

​

Peter Pan Cast of Characters:

​

  • Peter Pan: The essence of youthful pride, a boy unwilling to accept the responsibilities of growing up. Tenor to a G. Strong singer/actor/mover. Must be willing to fly.

  • Tinker Bell: A strong younger girl, skilled in mime, speaks in sign and motions, must be expressive.

  • Wendy Darling: A young girl on the verge of womanhood. Strong singer/actor/mover. Must be willing to fly.

  • John Darling: A young boy, intelligent and somewhat geeky. Strong singer/actor. Must be willing to fly.

  • Michael Darling: youngest of Darling children. Sweet and innocent, but loves adventure. Strong singer/actor. Must be willing to fly.

  • Mr. Darling/Captain Hook: The leader of the pirates, Peter Pan’s nemesis. Strong singer/actor. Baritone to an F. We might cast an adult for this role because it is vocally difficult, but we are open to listening to teen boys.

  • Mrs. Darling: Beautiful and nurturing. Soprano. Once again, we might cast an adult for this role because it is vocally difficult, but we are open to listening to teen girls.

  • Smee: Loyal, comical sidekick to Captain Hook. Strong singer, actor, mover.

  • Tiger Lily: Brave daughter of the Indian Chief. Strong singer/actor/dancer.

  • The Lead Lost Boys: These will be girls AND boys. When Riley played this role (about 13 years ago) they were ALL girls.
    ◦ Tootles: Second in command. Strong actor/singer/dancer.
    ◦ Slightly: Quick to speak, smart mouth. Strong actor/singer/ dancer.
    ◦ Curly: Strong actor/singer/dancer.
    ◦ Nibs: Strong actor/singer/dancer.

  • Principal Lost Boys: also strong singers, actors, movers

  • The Pirates: Strong singers/actors/dancers. Tap experience recommended

  • Lead Dancers

  • Natives

  • Mermaids

  • Narrators

  • Nana: older actor, dressed as a large dog

  • Tick Tock: Crocodile who rolls around on his/her belly (on wheeled contraption), chasing Hook.

  • Fairies: the youngest girls in the cast. Will be in one dance number and the finale. (3-6 years old).
